Dinner at Ffiona’s in Kensington is a wonderful experience.
Candles flicker on the tables and the ambient lighting lends an air of intimacy to the evening. Dinner in London can at times be a tad impersonal, but here at ffiona’s, Kensington we pride ourselves on extending a warm welcome and offering friendly and personal service. Wether you are dining in London alone or with a party of up to 45 people we would love to take care of you.
We choose our ingredients carefully and offer home cooking at its best. Catering for all diets including vegans and people with food allergies. If you let us know in advance we can provide you with just about anything your heart desires for your dinner in Kensington.We are and always have been “inclusive not exclusive”. We cook with the seasonal produce and from starters to desserts you will find something to delight whatever your tastes.
Fresh organic salads both veggie and vegan but always unique and tasty. Scottish beef and Welsh hill farm lamb. Amazing Moroccan aubergine salad served warm with vegan yoghurt and fresh mint. Fresh fish, swordfish, hake or sea trout, cooked to your specifications and of course wonderful British shrimp and king scallops from Devon, not forgetting the best fish and chips in London. Vegan starters, main courses and desserts are on offer. My personal favourites are the homemade pies ( steak and kidney or chicken and leek) and of course our house specialty….chicken Kiev..”probably the best in the world.” Succulent free range chicken breast stuffed with our world class garlic butter, crumbed and then sealed in the pan, baked in the oven and served on a pink peppercorn sauce. Cut into it and watch a sea of garlic butter emerge!!!

So here is a selection of some of our classic and most popular vegan dishes.
We can’t offer all of them on every day as obviously most of them are purely seasonal. However if you spot a favourite and would like to make sure it is available for your supper, please do let us know when you book and we will do our best to produce it for you.
All ingredients shown here are vegan including cheeses, butter, pesto, ice cream etc..
Vegetable soup served with artisan toast
Parmesan salad with peppery arugula, raw summer corn, radish and pea shoots.
Grilled mango with sautéed wild mushroom and a balsamic dressing.
Black fig and feta salad with pomegranate, grilled hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds
Moroccan aubergine salad served warm with a vegan yogurt and fresh mint dressing.
Spicy parsnip fritters with garlic yogurt sauce.
Watermelon, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and pickled jalapeños with a sweet and sour dressing.
Grilled avocado, sweet tomatoes, green onion and sunflower seeds and a fresh pistachio pesto.
Crispy fried polenta with broccoli, fresh herbs, served on wilted spinach, roasted tomatoes and toasted coconut curls with a tomato and chilli dressing and red amaranth.
Sweet potato and zucchini noodles, green onion, edamame beans, hazelnut and lemon pesto served with Dukkah and pea shoots.
Vegan shepherds pie topped with a delicious cheesy mash
Raw vegan chocolate cheesecake (made with cashews) on a delicious base of macadamia nuts and medjool dates.
A “creamy” silken tofu chocolate cheesecake with an Oreo biscuit base.
(Oreos contain no animal products however the makers do stress that the facility they produce them in does handle dairy so there is a chance of cross dairy contamination)
We are always experimenting and trying new recipes or new ingredients so hopefully there will be something that you love.

Come out the main station exit on to High Street Kensington and turn right.
Walk up to the big junction with Kensington Church Street and turn left.
Ffiona’s is on about 3 minutes walk up Kensington Church Street on the left.
From Notting Hill Gate Tube:
- Central Line
- Circle Line
- District Line
Exit Notting Hill Gate Tube from the South Exit and head east along Notting Hill Gate.
Take the first left down Kensington Church Street and Ffionas is about 8 minutes walk, on the right.

If your coming by car, the best place to park is the NCP Car Park on at The Royal Garden Hotel – 2 – 24 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 4PT.
Once parked, turn right on to High Street Kensington.
Take the second right up Kensington Church Street, and Ffiona’s is 3 minutes walk on the left.
