In 2010 we started serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and over the years it’s just got better and better!
Start with one of our famous Bloody Marys, spiked with fresh horseradish, a Bloody Maria with Fortaleza Tequila, a Pink Greyhound, a refreshing Mimosa or maybe just choose from a selection of our freshly squeezed juices.
First off I have to tell you about our killer French toast – forget anything you’ve tried before this is a slice of heaven on a plate! You can top it with berries and banana with sides of toffee sauce and whipped cream or maybe you’d prefer to add our world class sausages, bacon and fried eggs.
Another specialty that can’t be missed is our Sweet potato hash with a touch of red chillies and lots of spicy chorizo sausage, topped with two free range hens eggs (your choice) and maybe a side of grilled halloumi cheese or ripe avocado?
Our buttermilk pancakes are gluten free – for no other reason than removing the gluten just makes them even lighter and fluffier – again add anything you want from strawberries to sausages, toffee sauce to real maple syrup and butter.You could try our traditional “Full English” served of course with black pudding and our delicious strawberry jam or marmalade accompanied with wonderfully creamy British butter for your toast. We have organic oak smoked salmon and there’s “2 eggs anyway with toast” so you can build your own breakfast.
Maybe you’d rather our ‘Breakfast of Champions” an 8oz thick cut Scottish sirloin steak topped with two of our free range fried hens eggs served with a fresh salad or hand cut chips. Our range of “Eggs Benedict” topped with delicious homemade hollandaise sauce are legendary – our favourite eggs benedict is served on toasted crunch meal bread topped with our homemade organic beetroot hummus, ripe avocado, toasted seeds, two softly poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and chilli flakes – it comes veggie but most people prefer to layer it up with some crispy bacon, oak smoked salmon or maybe halloumi cheese – it is knockout – talk about eat the rainbow!
On Saturday we also have fish and chips for lunch – we serve fresh haddock in our crispy batter with homemade mushy peas, tartare sauce and our hand cut chips. On Sundays we have traditional Sunday roasts to offer. Choose from lemon and herb roasted chicken with crispy skin, thick cut, tender pork chop (both served with sage and onion stuffing) or Cornish hake (white fish) with a lovely lemon and caper butter sauce. All are served with crispy roast potatoes, steamed greens and herb roasted carrots.
Add into the mix our specially blended coffee and you have a recipe for success!
